MAA & Mrinal Doley

           MAA (Mising Artist Association ) is a Cultural Organization. It’s a non political organization. It was formed on 22nd May 2011 in Jonai, Dhemaji. A grand Artist meet was held on 21st and 22nd May 2011 at Jonai. More then  100 artist attended the meeting. The President & the Secretary of Mising Dirbi Kebang (Mising Cultural association) also attended the meeting and gave some valuable advice.

            To make the artist meet, a grand success; many people helped with core of their heart like the Jonai Press club, Jonai District TMPK, Arup Dutta, Raju Medak, Dilip Pegu, Nim Pegu, Diganta Pegu, Juwel Pegu, Nalo hazarika,Murkong Selek Krishti Kebang, Jonai etc.

           

            In this meeting all the artist came forward and gave a bold and beautiful solution of forming an association. On 22nd May 2011 an association was formed for the smooth and well being of the Mising Artists, named- "MAA" (Mising Artist Association).  Mrinal Doley was elected as the first President and Firuj Pegu as Secretary of this association. It is also said that Mrinal is the founder of this association.
